Why I say Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays

I know it's the new year but I got some 2011 Christmas beef y'all.

On Christmas Day I just happened to read some of my Facebook feeds and a lot of them said things like (paraphrasing here): 'I can't believe people still celebrate the Jesus part of Christmas. This isn't the Dark Ages...

That upset me!

I mean, I don't celebrate the Jesus part either BUT I think everyone has the right to celebrate the Christmas holidays however they want without ridicule. The way I see it is you celebrate your way, I'll celebrate my way and we shouldn't bother each other about how it should be celebrated.

If you're really bothered by how members of the human race celebrate the holidays then create some unbiased awareness. At least you'll may help someone see your point of view versus making them feel bad about their traditions.

Just saying!

Anyway, now that I'm done ranting, I'll exlain why I say Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays. When I say Merry Christmas, I'm showing you what I believe in. That's it. I only say Happy Holidays at work because that's what the employer wants.

So I'll end with a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

It's That Time of the Year Again

It's that time of the year where I update my blog while visiting my family. It seems like I only have time to do it at this time. I hope everyone is having a nice holiday vacation. Even if you're not, relieve some stress by venting your stress on this website:

VentNation

I found this site when I realized my Facebook messages were becoming very negative. This site really does relieve that tension. Anyway, I gotta go especially because I'm being rude by typing this atthe dinner table. So, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! That's right, I said the 'c' word. Why? Because it shows you what I celebrate.

Custom Paint Your BlackBerry Torch 9800

When the BlackBerry Torch 9800 came out I was uber excited about it. But then I remembered that I'm stuck with a three year contract where I have 2 years left to go on my BlackBerry Curve 8330 : /

A girl can still fantasize right?

So I did with this really cool website where you can ship in your Torch and have it re-painted with some wicked-cool colors.

Check out Colorwarepc

The pricing is on the expensive side, but, it was really cool to pretend to design the Torch I dont' have.

Below are my pics:
